OOTD: Black & White Gold

Hello my lovely readers,

First of all, I have the winner to my cutey-giveaway… it’s Gillian Holmes! Congratulations, I’ll email you in a bit :)!

So, I’m breaking out my metallic pleated skirt today. I got it from Asda about 6 months ago, but this is my first time wearing it. Actually it was included in my last blogsale too, and I’m SO HAPPY that no one bought it. It used to be midi-length, but got it altered and now it’s the perfect length for my short legs. Pleated skirts are my latest obsession, I could take one in every colour, but so far I only have this metallic one and this polkadotted one. Funnily enough both have been altered! Well, I get my pleated skirts in any way I can ;).

Lacy top: 3X, Forever 21+ (similar) | Tank top: XL, Gina Tricot (similar) | Skirt: 20, George at ASDA – altered (similar-ish) | Clutch: L.K Bennett – borrowed from flatmate (similar) | Heels: New Look (similar) | Fly necklace: And Mary – present from Dani | Lippy: Accessorize, Coral Crush With Love

Now tell me, what’s your latest fashion addiction?

OOTD: My perfect skirt

I have drooled over this ASOS skirt for ages, ever since I saw Jessica of Too Many Sequins wearing it. But in this post she looked absolutely perfect, and that made me finally order it. (And thankfully I came across a 20% off code just then, haha.) I have already worn it a couple of times and it has really become my fave skirt, I absolutely love it and it fits me perfectly! I’m currently in love with yellow, so I teamed up the skirt with yellow and black.

Puffball skirt: 22, ASOS Curve | Shrug: 20, New Look Inspire (similar) | Tank top: XL, Gina Tricot (similar) | Leggings: 16/18, Primark | Shoes: 7, Primark (similar) | Glasses: LensWay

So yeah, go and order one if you haven’t already! This skirt is amazing, that is all I can say :)!

OOTD: Earthy tones

I went to the hospital for some tests today (and I hope they’ll find something!), and since it was nice and sunny outside, I wanted to wear my new maxi. YES, it is another Old Navy purchase from NYC, but I loooooooove it. Long maxis are my weakness, since in the past I couldn’t find any (they were always my ankle length, not floor), now I feel that I have to buy them all!

Since it’s earthy green, I wanted to add other earthy tones and teamed it up with brown and grey. The cardi might look too chunky for a sunny spring day, but it wasn’t too much cos my neck and chest area was exposed anyway. First I thought I’d wear it without the belt, but after taking a few pics I decided that it looks better with the belt. Of course I had to add the Minnetonka’s (I’m seriously in love with them) and a brown scarf for my hair. Lastly I added my trusted old sunnies from years ago, I still love them :)

Scarf (in my hair): from my mum’s wedding dress | Cardigan: XL, H&M  | Dress: XXL, Old Navy | Tank top: XL, Gina Tricot | Belt: XL, Dorothy Perkins | Shoes: US8, Minnetonka | Sunnies: old prescription ones from Finland

Thanks to everyone who has already entered my giveaway, but if you haven’t, you still have a week before I close the entries :).
