OOTD: Candy colours

Hey lovies,

I’m so happy that the sun has been shining this weekend, and I bet you are too. Let’s cross our fingers and hope that spring is FINALLY here. It’s my birthday in less than two weeks, and I haven’t even made any plans since I don’t want to celebrate in a blizzard, haha. Four seasons is something that I miss about Finland, but the ONE weather-thing that I loved about UK is that spring comes early and is warm.. well, until this year that is..

Talking about Finland.. When I was doing the styling session at Evans Marble Arch last Monday (post to come soon), I was happy to hear Finnish while waiting for my reader, Dani. I mentioned that to the lovely ladies, in Finnish of course, and turned out that Satu is a blogger too (visit her at Bunnymode) – and it seems I have been getting quite a bit of traffic from the homeland because of her ;)!  Moi kaikille suomalaisille *toivottavasti* uusille lukijoille – moikatkaa ihmeessä takaisin :)!

So, to the outfit then. I wanted to add something cute and colourful to my outfit since the sun was out.. and I went with pink lippy, my amazing necklace from New Look (sadly sold out online, but this one is similar – and yes, I ordered that one too, haha), and my yellow heels. I think they work well with this Scarlett & Jo mesh top and New Look Inspire boyfriend jeans, and I’m happy I tried all of these together, as I ended up really loving this combo!

Fatshion Faceoff: Underwear as outerwear

Hello lovelies,

Once again it’s Wednesday, and I’m sure you know it’s Fatshion Faceoff time! If you’re new to the blog, please see here what Fatshion Faceoff is about :). I’m so happy to be back doing the challenge, it was weird (but needed) to skip the last two weeks! This week’s theme was chosen by me, and I chose underwear as outerwear. This gives us a chance to do something a bit more daring, and to bend some ‘rules’.

I tried 3 different outfits before I chose to do this one. I had a great idea with one of them, but couldn’t do it because of various reasons.. I’m sure you will see that outfit someday in the future though. I wore my trusty biker jacket, my new wetlook-scubaish skater skirt from New Look Inspire (which is sadly sold out online already – but I have still seen them in stores) and the gorgeous floral slip from Simply Be that I modelled at Plus North last year.

I really like this look, it’s sexy, but not way too revealing. Not sure what would be the right occasion to wear it though, maybe a gig or a festival? Anyway, enough about me and my outfit – I’m too excited to see the other girls’ looks… let’s click to see!

Double Vision: Varsity

Hey lovelies,

After a few week’s break, it is time for Double Vision again! In this challenge my amazing friend Dani and I are choosing a theme, item, movie character.. whatever we come up with basically, and style those our own way and post at the same time, more about the challenge here. This week’s theme was chosen by me, and I went with ‘Varsity’. It seems that this trend is everywhere now, with tops and jackets with big letters on them, and tops with ‘Nerd’, ‘Jock’, ‘Dork’..etc on them. Other part of me finds it cheesy, but the other one loves it :D.

My love for the trend started when I saw this sweater at New Look. Since my name is Hanna, I might as well own a sweater with a huge ‘H’ on it, right? For this challenge post I went for a ‘fat cheerleader’ look, haha, sadly I don’t own pompoms ;)

Fatshion Faceoff: Knee-high boots

Hello lovelies,

Once again it’s Wednesday, and I’m sure you know it’s Fatshion Faceoff time! If you’re new to the blog, please see here what Fatshion Faceoff is about :). This week’s theme was chosen by Olivia, and she chose knee-high boots/over the knee boots.

Now I’m definitely cheating in this challenge… these boots are mid-calf length, BUT they are the only ‘long’ boots that I own. ALL the others are ankle boots or shoe boots. So please forgive me on this ;). I went for a ‘country girl’ look, which in my opinion would look better without the black tights, but it was too cold to be without them. I broke my shopping ban a bit when my mom was visiting London (I couldn’t let her do ALL the shopping, haha), and this bargainous £6 skirt from Primark was one of my purchases. I wore it with my current wardrobe favourite, my ASOS Curve denim shirt which I love to bits – I could seriously wear it with everything :)!

I’m sure I’m the only ‘failing fashionista’, and the other girls do have actual knee-high boots.. Let’s go see!
