Another term that’s been taking the SEO world by storm is “Bulk backlinks” and we will explore what they are and how you can get them.

As of late, we have seen a surge of links, backlinks and links within links being created on sites such as Quora, Reddit, Wikipedia and all over social media. However these backlinks can be taken down if they are not properly managed so careful planning needs to be done before you initiate any bulk link building strategy for your site.

This article will discuss the different types of links, what they are and how can you get them. Once you have got your website set up with backlinks then it’s time to consider that Google is probably crawling, indexing and assigning rankings based on these links.

There are three types of backlinks I will be discussing in this article.

Do-Follow Backlinks (Links that send PageRank) No-Follow Backlinks (Doesn’t send PageRank) Internal Links (My favorite!)

Do-Follow Backlinks:

Do-follow backlinks are links on external domains that pass PageRank and can be followed by search engine spiders. Some examples of do follow backlinks include:

Blog comments and forums with no moderation or human interaction. These sites like to have comments on their posts, but they don’t want to moderate the comments as it takes them a lot of time and energy; instead they would rather viewers use the comment box as a space for discussion without having to moderate it with websites such as Disqus or Tinychat that allow for human interaction.

LinkedIn Company Pages –

you can apply for a Company Page on LinkedIn and it will automatically be connected to your personal account so essentially you have a complete profile! There is no way to contact your company page directly, but there is a company page on LinkedIn. This site allows for communities and allows businesses and individuals to connect and engage with each other.

No-Follow Backlinks:

No follow backlinks are backlinks that do not pass PageRank and will not be followed by search engine spiders. There many different places that you can get no-follow backlinks from, but the best place to use is your own website! Just like Google, we want to ensure that we guide our visitors and clients through your website and provide quality content. We want to use internal links as a way of driving traffic from one page on our website to another by using anchor text in link descriptions.

Some examples of no follow backlinks include:

Link shorteners such as bit.ly, TinyURL and Ow.ly are not considered do-follow because they are not tracking the links that you are providing on their site. Therefore if you use these link shorteners on your site or on social media then you are wasting valuable link juice.

Google+ – Google+ allows for businesses to have a profile with a company name, description, photos of their office space etc. They also allow for Brand Pages to be set up so brands can have complete control over their business Google+ Page design design and content.
